I think the nargles have melted in Dallas. 106 for two days in a row! And a few more to come. Ugh. We might melt too!

Glad to hear Tachi is better. Our cat goes to the vet tomorrow. Just a check up, but the prodigal daughter is taking him and I expect her to be a little "torn to bits" after the experience.

Get her some long welders gloves.  :D

Taffy Saltwater

This is back dating a bit, but last week I found a shed anoli skin on my stairs.  Very interesting & I like how he vacated the premises through his tummy, leaving an almost perfect shell, including a dome over the eyes.

Melting nargles is a good thing! It sure is hot enough!
A shed anoli skin is quite a find! I have never seen one!

It's really quite interesting. I've seen way too many snake skins, but this was my first time seeing an anoli skin.  I have the skin in a baseball cap for safekeeping, but at some point he'll have to be returned to nature due to dessication.

It does sound like a very cool find! I have seen snake skins around here- but never found an anoli skin.
You have sharp eyes!
Off to the dentist. Just a checkup- but I still hate going.
I may have to have a swig of scotch to cheer me up after wards.Good little kids get a lollipop or a ring- I want Scotch! LOL.

I need to go to a dentist but no insurance and money is kinda tight.... Will end up biting the bullet soon though! I have lizard and snake skins all the time around here...in the house and out.  Mostly Dragon skins!  One of my baby dragons(Stumpy) that Cali rescued broke his jaw...He is calcium deficient. So trying to help that heal and hand feeding him(with lots of extra calcium and D) Poor baby was eating and bit down on something wrong..... He is still so tiny(about6")! So he has a tape and peacock feather shaft cast on his face!I am just hoping it heals and he is fine. The other one(Fluggle The Third) has grown and is doing very well but he eats ANYTHING I give him...so getting the extra Calcium in him has been no problem.

My stepdaughters son is coming to stay for a few days so I may not have a lot of time to play on here!

I survived the Dentist. Just a cleaning- but that hurts when the stuff that numbs my gums wears off. I have super sensitive teeth, Scotch does help!
Can't wait to see all your critters Cat! So good of you to help the needy ones! I love your lizards and snakes, cats and dogs too!
Needy sick cat clinic here.  Tachi is about all I can handle! Luckily he is doing Ok. so far.
I am still not feeling great. I guess I will break down and see my Dr so I feel All OK before TRF.
I have not been feeling good since I ate the bad meat pie at Scarby. I am sick of feeling horrible.

Find a tub of Chobani yogurt it has done wonders for me...It is a Greek yogurt that has 5 live cultures so it realigns your digestive system. I was having major yuck gut after having that stomach bug several times... since eating this(and using it as my yogurt starter) I am healthier than I have been in years!  Wish the cow was giving so I had fresh again!  But I have several goats and sheep due to freshen soon...then I will have fresh yogurt again!  YUMMY!!! I am so looking forward you being here this year. YIPPEEE!!! Huzzah!!!

So far the little dragon is doing well..I got him to eat a bit today!

Queen Bonnie

I have been eating Greek yogurt. Can't find that brand here in darkest Elgin. HEB has Yoplait Greek- I get the plain or another more expensive brand. It helps but more is going on I think.
I went to my Dr this AM and she gave me pills for my stomach- I will still eat yogurt. A shot for my back to numb the pain and new pain pills. Usually nothing works on me. I hope I get better. I can't afford extensive tests or physical therapy.
I can't wait to come this year too!
Counting the days! I hope I am much better by then!
Tachi goes in to the vet tomorrow for his glucose check up.
Glad the dragon is eating!

I am sure hoping you feel better! I have some new things to decorate the room.... Samhain will be a BLAST!

I am so excited I have orders for custom ritual brooms and dolly sized as well. Terry got with me about a hanger for his dagger and I have the soft sculpture dragon(Saphirra SP?) from the book not the movie to make.... maybe things are looking up!!! I hope you have some fun stuff going as well!!!!

Queen Bonnie

I am feeling better. The  Magick pills my Royal physician gave me are helping!
It will take a while for my back to heal though. No moving mountains or millstones for a few weeks for me.
Tachi went for a glucose check today. It was a bit low but that is better than too high.  He is happy and eating well- but has lost weight. When I went to go to the vet the carrier was heavy- but I thought it was because my back was hurting. I put the carrier in the car and locked the house and when I got in the car I had 2 Siamese meowing at me from the carrier. Yoshi had snuck in there to go with his buddy Tachi!  Both are happily baking on the porch in the heat. Siamese love it HOT.
I am working on all sorts of things- but easy on my back stuff for now. Repairing a 1930's Shirley Temple doll look alike- Miss Charming. She will be very charming when I get her finished. She was a gift from another doll collector friend. Original with only a few boo boos in her composition. Easy fixer!

Sir Martin

Please follow doctor's orders and get well soon, Queen Bonnie!  We've got to have you and your magick in good shape for TRF.   :)

Queen Bonnie

That is my  Magical medical mission! I don't want to miss a single weekend of TRF! I have to be fit to do the weather spells!
