 I miss you too Sir Martin. Sherwood is over.I wish it went all year!!! What a great run. I did not miss a day. I am tired but very happy.  I have the joust next weekend at Sherwood. Alas- I have a ride to Scarby on the 3rd weekend. Day trips after that- if I can swing it. Hugs!

 The joust was fun. Then I picked up my consigned wands, staffs and crystals on Sunday.
I have friends coming to help me transition to my first weekend with NO Sherwood. How will I last until next year? Hoping I can find a few more rides to Scarby.

My Queen, perhaps we should talk. I am hoping to do two, maybe three Saturday Scarby's this year, the first, I hope, this weekend. I can't promise anything but it seems something of a crime to ride out of San Marcos, passing Elgin, without at least mentioning it.

 Var and I had a great weekend at Scarby! Lots there looked just like people I met at Sherwood! LOL.
It was warm and windy. The dust was a challenge to contact lens wearers.
DT Masters got some fine photos!  much fun was had!

Sounds like fun... My weekend was a great Saturday and a HORRID new day Sunday! Saturday got to see the Alamo(let down there) and the River walk(bummer there) but then went to San Marcos and found the Dick's Classic Garage Antique Car Museum and The CAF Old Airplane/War museum.... So the day turned out AWESOME.... but early Sun morn we got news my niece Tessa was the only person killed in a wreck with her Boyfriend,his dad and his dad GF. Still not sure if alcohol was involved but they had been on the lake all day water skiing.... The father was driving. So My weekend sort of got botched! Glad you had fun Bonnie... how it the Tachi???

Oh my gosh ... sorry to hear about your niece, Cat.  I hope the others involved in the accident recover from their injuries.

 Awful about your niece Cat!I was so shocked and sad to fear about it on FB. Hugs  to all your family.
Tachi is frail but hanging in there. The new cat sitter is wonderful. All the kitties were happy I got home. They are SO spoiled.  Tachi has been busy bossing me around. He WOWS and I jump! Neri stole the cat sitter's key when she left it here. Klepto kitty strikes again!
Scarby was great- but Sherwood is closer. Still hoping for a few Scarby day trips. Worried about gas prices and TRF. Waving wand so prices come down!

 Still hoping for day trip rides to Scarby- may 14 or 15?  I miss faire. Boo to quiet weekends! LOL.
Garden club plant sale this weekend. I need to help.

I sure hope the price of gas comes down...it costs nearly 25 bucks to fill the gas can and that gives me a tank or two in the push mower or tiller and a fill on the tractor...with a touch left to put in green man or the riding mower.... SAD SAD times! Used almost half a tank to do near half the pasture....Still have to finish mowing...but the tractor dropped a wire or something...Will not start!  When the tomatoes start to ripen I will be making spagetti sauce,drying them and generally canning them in many forms...  Peppers are doing well too! Peaches are starting to turn and a few plums(if I beat the turkeys)   Looking forward to you being here for TRF!

 I hope I can come for TRF. It depends on gas prices. The Meowmobile is not an economy car- but it is all I have.
I am very  down today. I lost another of my cat family. Batman was not feeling good this weekend and stopped eating. I took him to the Vet this AM.He had a high fever. He had FIP- Feline aids. No cure. I had to put him to sleep.I did not want him to suffer. I held him while it was done. He was a good kitty. Today is hard.  I only have 3 of my Royal Felines left. I will hug them all today.

Sorry to hear about your Batman kitty, Queen Bonnie.  I know things have been rough, but you simply must make it to TRF!

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Batman must have been an extraordinary cat.  Of course, they all are.
