Well the Van is finally back working... New fuel pump fixed it.... Looks like my moms trucks problem may have been bad batteries! Got 2 new ones and she fires right up! So maybe the Dodge will tow for a while longer!!!   Got Homers papers turned in today!!! Now to enter him tomorrow...Maybe we will get into the race for Sat...

I got a slow leak in my waterfall fixed yesterday and put my carpeting that was soaked back in the powder room.

 I am now the unofficial Rennie sales rep for the Elgin Lion's Club Thrift shop! Much renn garb can be found there- and helps a worthy organization if I can't wear it- happy to find someone who can. I got a blacksmith a linen shirt and found gypsy garb for his wife today also!
  My evil twin shops there often too! Pirate garb anyone?
She is reading The Pirate Latitudes and drinking coconut rum tonight. Beware!

Neri is tearing up Meow Manor. Are all kittens so busy? I don't remember Yoshi being so active and into everything- but it has been years since I had a kitten.

YUP Kittens are a RIOT...Much like small gang members!!!! 

Well we got to the track all went well up to Homey needing a shoe put back on... NO SHOER at the barn! So we got him up to the saddling area and the guy there tried to retighten the shoe enough to run him.... but it could not be done.. Homey was too rilled up by then... if we could have done it in the barn all would have been great...so he got scratched from the race!!! It makes you crazy!!!! I checked his shoes before we left and they were all tight.... but he kicked in the trailer,the stall and got a nail hung and pulled it out! Pure talent... So now he has 3 shoes and did not get to race! GRRRR!

 Oh Dear! So sorry to hear about the shoe trouble. The nargles must live at that race track! Drat! I was wondering how you did.
At least the weather is getting warmer.
I spent yesterday painting a corner of my 10' tin ceiling. The toilet upstairs leaked a bit and there were rust spots on the ceiling. I used rustoleum. Scary up so high on a ladder- but it looks much better. I keep busy. There is lots to do around here. Tachi is on my lap purrring. Neri and Yoshi are getting into trouble in the kitchen. Batman is out hunting and Chingy is sleeping.

Kittens are definitely small maniacs but so worth it!! I hope Neri isn't keeping you up at night. My mom has resorted to putting her two little ones, Speedy and Spooky, into one room at night. They've been knocking things over as they tear around the house and waking her up at night with all the banging. We found that using one of those little laser lights to get them to chase around in the evening seems to wear them out enough that they sleep better. Sending you some good cheer to get through the January blahs.

Finally got the Yule stuff put back into Harry Potters room.... had to clean and sort it first... next is the House elf room attached to my work room..must sort the leather and fabric boxes!!!UGGHH! Not my favorite chore. But it must be done if I am to sew at all! Always much to do...keeping Oreo out of EVERYTHING is the hard part!!!

 Neri is a mostly good kitten and knows PM is for sleeping. She caught a palmetto bug this AM and was very proud of herself. Mighty hunter and plant and bug killer! I put pine cones in all my pots and that deters her a bit!
The big cats watch her and sometimes play too. Yoshi is fascinated.
  Meow Manor got a" haircut" today! The yard man cleaned all up and mowed and hauled off limbs from the tree that came down. Big job this year with so much zapped by the hard freeze.
Going out to Sherwood Sunday for a photo shoot. Yayy to getting in garb again. Dressing like a Muggle is no fun! Thanks for the good cheer, Baroness! I love the names of your Mom's kittens! 2 get into more trouble. Neri sleeps with my 20 year old Siamese. Chingy keeps her in line!
Janu-weary is nearly over! Huzzah to that.

No my house elves are messy... I think letting them have old clothes was a mistake! Now they do nothing!... Well th shoer called yesterday and canceled till today then did not show up today... and worse did not call!!! So I called another shoer and he is coming Monday!!! GRRRR! Sure makes it rough to get stuff done... so mom and I refenced an area and moved the sheep and goats... moving the sheep was more work than doing the fence!  The dogs were mostly no help... all but the chihuahua... he helped even after getting kicked!  Kinda funny!   Well back to thinking about costumes and stuff...
