I am intending to daytrip Saturday, get up early, drive to faire, stay until they kick me out and then drive home. 

FYI, 35W between 94 and 62(crosstown) will be closed from Friday evening until Monday morning.  Northbound is open.  If you're going south and need that area, might just be easiest to go into downtown and take Portland south.  Alternatively, 35E will take you to 494.

If you want to carpool, I'm available to ride or drive, during the day my phone is 612 316-2514.

I see your point about collecting money ahead of time for group rates. I would think those that want them will be there at the designated time to purchase their tickets.  (With the exception of Sleepy)
I know I personally can't afford to take the hit to buy them all ahead of time and hope everyone remembers to pay me.  I don't have a credit card, I use a Visa Check card.  I have kids to feed and a mortgage to pay.

Yes, I'm planning on camping. Well, sort of. My truck has a camper shell and I just throw a mattress in back. But I'll be there. Also, do we need a number for tickets? If so, do you have me down for 2?

I am sort of.  Getting a little excited!  The girl and I practiced putting up the tent tonight (like I will remember how to do it again Friday)
After a few swear words, and fifty bug bites (thru bug spray) we got it up.  In one piece and didn't break it. 
AND I managed to stuff it back into the little bitty bag they give you.

tomorrow is my baking  and cooking day.  Getting all food stuffs chopped, prepped, pre-cooked, etc.  Will get all items packed and ready for loading on Friday.]

We *plan* to leave around noon but I'm not going to freak about the time.  I bit later is still OK.  I just want to get out before the traffic starts.   Guess I'd better look up the route, eh?

Since I'm not going to be pitching a tent, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in letting me be a "plus one adult" at the campsite. It would be a bit cheaper that way and taking my daughter to the parents last week cost more than I thought it would.
