St Patricks Day Parade postponed

THE PARADE AND FESTIVAL HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO NEXT WEEK, SATURDAY MARCH 21
Due to the dire weather forecast the Parade Committee have decided to postpone the Parade and Wearin' 'O the Green Festival until next week.
Events
Homeland will still perform at Mac's Tavern Friday, March 13 and again at Napper Tandy's Saturday night, March 14.
Parade Day! of course the parade has a new date March 21!
* Parade starts at NOON * Wearin' O' the Green Festival starts on Moore Square immediately following the parade!

The ArtsCenter Celtic Concert Series GiveWay, Thursday, April 9
The ArtsCenter Celtic Concert Series Paddy Keenan and John Doyle, Friday, May 22
Other News

The annual parade fund raiser Ceili was a great success!
NC State Football Coach, Tom O'Brien was presented as this year's Grand Marshal
Jessica Corley was crowned as the Rose of Raleigh by Raleigh Mayor Charles Meeker
Great fun was had by all and the parade committee wishes to thank all the performers and helpers. Thanks also goes out to everyone who donated or bought raffle tickets.
Festival
The Wearin' 'O the Green Festival will begin right after the parade with the Patriotic Parachute Team jumping right into Moore Square. Look for them on the Martin Street side.
