Finally!!

With much wailing and gnashing of teeth (and many sleepless nights), our coronation shots are up on Rensites.  We were limited in our movement during the ceremony, so don't judge too harshly for variety    Ignore the order, we are still working on that... output from two camera bodies apiece have not been chronotized yet.

There will be more to come... she has another 50 or so to gen, and I have probably another 10-20 to do.  Here are the paths...

<Jaw falls open> You and your lady have done a spectacular job of capturing the ceremony!  Even more-so considering the contraints you were shooting under.

Still love your ladyship's detail shot of the crown sitting on the blue and silver cloth.    Love your shots of VIII in full regalia crown, scepter, and orb.   Also the shot of Queen Anne with her crown.

I'm sure the cast will be overjoyed with the results.  And a big HUZZAH! to the cast for pulling out all the stops to recreate an idea of the spendor of the event.   Well done!

Those are abnsolutely stunning!

I wish I could have been there, but the photos tell a lovely story. Thank you very much for taking them!!!!

Thank you one and all for the kind words.  All we did was point and shoot... the cast did the rest.  They put on a stellar show, even through a few suppressed tears (yes, we captured those as well) ;)

BTW, kudos to the cast for allowing us in so close to the action!  They made holes for us to duck into.  And, thanks to all the other photographers that we flitted in front of while trying for the shots... everyone shooting was VERY cognizant of everyone else's line of sight, and extremely courteous in making spaces so that everyone had opportunities.

I'm sure there were better angles out there... so much photographic talent was amassed in one spot that there have to be hundreds of stunning shots waiting for an audience.  We are but one small slice of the picture pie  :)  I wanna see the whole pie!

My rogue and I have been to Scarby every other weekend.  We were curious if any one managed to get a photo of my husband.  I'm thinking of surprising him with a nice shot from the faire.   My husband is a little hard to miss.  Some of the cast and performers have started calling him "Jean- Flamingo -The Pink Pirate".  He is all in shades of pink, a black cavalier hat, magenta pink cape with a bright red drabbit on his shoulder.

Might someone have gotten a shot of him?  just curious.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

I saw him several times but he was walking to fast to catch. Tell him to slow down a bit.

Yell out "Pink Pirate!" or  "Quizzik!" ( the name of his Drabbit) and he will stop.  He will happily stop for attention.  Especially for a pretty lady  ;D
