Thanks so much for the replies, your stories are all so sweet. My main obstacle is to make sure she doesn't try to hide the entire time. And you lads will have a hard time getting her out of her shyness, but I would love to see what she would do. Probably develop a permanent blush.

Like the others have said, just have her be careful with her expectations, especially if she is seeking something long term. Faire romances are great, but the ones that last beyond faire are the exception, not the rule. However, the short ones have their own merit in confidence-boosting and having someone to walk around with at faire. All my past faire relationships have been the short ones. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, though, with my current one that it will last a bit longer, since we've made plans for him to visit here both in May and June, and then when I (possibly, if they get in) travel up to MIRF with Wine and Alchemy, for us to visit then when he is not tied down with cast duties.
