I really look forward to doing something different for the fashion show at CONvergence this weekend. There's a bunch of demonstrations on Youtube for how to wrap different styles of turbans that I referred to in case anyone's interested. Here's where I got the turban fabric http://www.gosikh.com/index.php , but it's really just some light weight cotton fabric 1 meter wide and 4 meters long and ended up costing about $4/yard including shipping so you can probably do just as well at a local fabric store.

A couple pics from CONvergence this weekend. Waiting to see some pics from the fashion show which should show the raygun on my right hip and the sword tucked under the sash on the other side. I didin't know there was a competition, but won an honorable mention for a "historical based" character and got lots of compliments for a more original look
