Memorial Weekend Roll Call

I should be there Saturday and Monday.  And just for the record, I wanted to point out that it rained last year on Memorial Day weekend, and we're expecting isolated thunderstorms this weekend.  Should this be telling us something?

You shall have your chance to speak with Sister Mary McNugget of The Holy Order of Send the Sinners to the Almighty to Sort Through for Himself on Sunday. She shall be in attendance that day.

Father Jeffrey (Chaplain of the Scottish Brigade) is trying to get all the folks he knows with religious character garb to attend on Sunday so that the group can make an appearance at Scottish Court that day as "The God Squad".

That's all the detail I know until I speak with him again on Saturday next... but it should be good fun.

It will be nothing but sunshine all weekend - and if some of that happen so be the the liquid variety then so be it, we'll all have a great time, and may even have to drink a bit more as our ale/rum/loki could get watered down!

The words "isolated" and "scattered" are definitely comforting.  The being there and getting rained on doesn't bother me so much.  It's the whole 'getting my small car out of the mud' issue that's more concerning.

Not likely I'm afraid...most likely, if it does rain, the humidity will skyrocket and then it will be hot and muggy.  I don't mind going to faire if it's hot, I can deal with that, I just don't like to be there in the rain!  I really don't like getting wet and then being wet.    Try going to the privy when the bottom of your skirt is wet and muddy.
