My anticipation of opening is warring with the thought of what I still have to finish to prepare.

I remember those days. They were such great days. I wonder if I'll ever see them again.
Now we only go one day of the season. Typically closing Saturday. And the excitement is nill. If anything interferes or cancels our day, we just shrug it off and try again the following season. That seems to have happened two seasons in a row now. We'll see if we'll be able to go this season. Hopefully they are still honoring unused tickets. If not, we won't be going this year either.

They are honoring unused tickets from last year. I was told this directly from the TRF office. Just take your tickets to will call to exchange them.
