Hey now...Scotty always had Whiskey ready. Bones always had Romulan Ale...probably from Doctors without Borders

Oh, I remember now... it was Saurian Brandy that Scotty had a thing for... and if he didn't have that he always had a good bottle of scotch handy.  :D

What I always wondered, though, was... if the Federation was always at war with Romulus, and anytime Romulans and humans met one was sure to kill the other... how did Scotty always have a bottle of the stuff in his quarters?!?

Scotty had some, McCoy had it at the ready, and I think Guinan from ST: TNG kept a bottle or two around.  No doubt it could also be acquired at the Starbases if you had the right connections.  The custom of the "hidden stash" has probably endured for centuries.   ;)

Rani Zemirah

Well... Guinan had something "green"... but we all knew it was the Saurian Brandy!  ;)  heheh  The Romulan Ale is a lovely shade of blue, though...

A different variation of a "recipe" I came across for Romulan Ale is:

Bacardi rum
Everclear
Blue Curaçao liqueur

Equal amounts with no diluting liquid
(rated at 134-proof)

Geez... no wonder even Worf couldn't drink the stuff!!!

Save some for me, Belle!!!  I haven't even started my sewing yet, and I may not even get to for another week!  I at least get to wear garb this Sat., though, for our Midsummer Fairy Ball, although it only lasts a couple of hours, and is mostly a children's event.  Still, it's GARB!!!  :D

Rani...that sounds more appropriate. Give you that solid Romulan Ale hangover, mine is more like liquid skittles.

Tell you what... you drink mine and I'll drink yours, and we'll see who has to be carried to their tent, k?  :D  I much prefer the "no hangover" method of drinking...  ::)

(although, mix that second one with the lime sherbert, some ice and a bit of Sprite in the blender, and I think we've got Frozen Romulan Ale!!!)  LOLOL  Must have discovered a case of it on that Ice Planet where they found Spock this last time...  :P

Well, I didn't mention that I wouldn't be drinking more than one... did I?  :P  I also didn't specify exactly how much Sprite and ice I'd be mixing with it, either!  ;)

(I talk a good game, but my liver is really the one in control still, and I tend to go pretty heavy on the mixer when I'm mixing for myself...)
