I am going to order our tickets for AHE sometime this week, but we did finally go buy a tent yesterday. Yay!  I wish I could get down for first weekend, so I'll just be jealous reading about everyone having all the fun faire times!

I've been doing some last minute garb mending/adjusting.  Sooooooo ready mentally for my escape, but not quite ready in any other way.

Camping inventory is complete, all but the food.  Ren garb is set, waiting on a couple things I've ordered.  Squared away my financial planning, so I'll be able to spend a few more dollars this than last year (new job). 

All I need now is a COOL FRONT.

Going to get and Ozark tent......that leaves more money for all the other things I need (air mattress, fire pit etc...)


I was going to get a tent heater, but I think there will be too many people in my tent to use one.....but I have found that if you shake up a couple of those hand warmers and stick them between the bottom blanket and air mattress they keep you pretty warm!

Not hijacking or steering the thread away from it's current topic, but since this is the most frequented thread I thought I would make this request here...Can someone shoot me the head honcho's or Nina's  from the pirate ship's info/how to contact them to my messages...I finally got enough stuff saved up to give the mousetress a proper proposal, hopefully on pirate weekend..those of you who know what I speak of, way to pay attention..those of you who don't ask me through message if you are curious..she didn't have a proper proposal and pirate weekend is nary close, but I hopes its not too late...thanks..now back to the regularly scheduled thread already in progress.
