Hehe, it is so true. We will see Jules across the way with the Dirt Fairy on a mission headed SOMEWHERE and try to theorize the shortest path to intercept. It often doesn't work, LOL. Of course, if there's a pub in the way I may need to stop for some libations. I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with it.

We meander, and the Dirt Fairy is usually on a mission and leaves us in the dust!

LOL  I have one of those "mission oriented" renlets, also, and it's often all I can do to keep up with her!  Unless, of course, we're somewhere SHE wants to be... and then it's all I can do to drag her away!    heheh

In fact, we bought a program at AHE, and she's been busy working out a "plan of attack" that looks like it's going to KILL me!!!  I had to remind her that we will have 3 whole days, and she relaxed just a little...

Woot... looks like my wee mummsie gets to go to Highland Fling in beautiful weather!  The sun just broke free of the clouds and it looks like it's good to go for the rest of the day!

I, on the other hand, get to go in true Scottish style!  Cloudy with nastiness, after noon, tomorrow! Sweet!  I can't wait!

After a lovely, cold, wonderful and exhausting camping trip with some of my fellow rennies, I believe my faire stint is over for 2010. No closing for me. Retail sucks.

We are hearing word on the wire that due to the drawdown our contract may end in January, so I might be back in time for Sherwood, but I have already been approached by another company to be picked up as a medic (paying disgustingly higher salary than I am making now), so I may wind up back over here again afterwards. I want to give Sherwood a go, recent events and changes at TRF have left me unhappy with the direction it seems to be going, which is heartbreaking as that has been my home faire for over 20 years. We'll see how it all turns out, though. Hope to see as many of you as possible there
