Merlin, it's our friend Martin Montgomery, who doesn't spend much time on the forums these days, since he fell in love...    The two of them will be having a handfasting ceremony on opening weekend, and we all want to be there to support and celebrate with them!  I'm trying my best to arrange things so we can get down there for it, although it will be tight since I just got back from Celtic Christmas at TRF.  Hopefully I'll be able to sell some of my crafts soon!  We'll see, but I'm determined to make it down there for at least one weekend!!!

Fraser... I'll be sooooo sad if I don't get to see you two at the ceremony!  Maybe if you'd stop shooting at clocks you'd have a little extra cash for Faire, eh?   ;p

Not a matter of money, darlin' but of that nasty 4 letter word called "WORK"... my co. is merging 2 locations and i've been charged to keep track of my locations 20+ million as it mates with the other location's 40 mil.  I've been informed that it'll be 12-14 a day, 6 days a week until late May.  My new martial arts training starts in January(Tae Kwon Do)... I'm needing range time... then there's the unconventional hand to hand that i have to train my son in... building my deck out to include a gym/dojo area... set up archery/hawk/knife range... on top of the next 30lbs i need to lose.  If i can make it, i will but...

My team is being de-mobilized soon, due to the contract being downsized, so I'll be back in time for Sherwood

Ok, ok... I won't push, but don't expect me to be all nice and everything, and NOT constantly mention how much I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at Sherwood, and how it will be my very first visit, or how excited I am about getting to drum and dance with the Seven Sisters...  Can't wait to see everything that's been done to the campgrounds, and the very idea of hot showers right there in the grounds is almost too much to take in!  They'll surely be welcome in the middle of February!!!    

So, uhhh... oh, never mind... I'm just not gonna even ask about this whole "mating" process...    (snerk)  Oh, speaking of range time, though... Scally and I are hoping to get in some time at the archery range sometime early in January!  She says she doesn't want to hunt... she just wants to shoot at people.  LOLOL


Breandan, glad you'll be back in time, although I'm sure you could have used the cash for finishing out the contract, what with the expense of the new baby.  Stay safe, and come home soon!

I've lost 25 lbs and counting with kickboxing, tae kwon do, and karate.
