Hey... in recent memory when I've called the rains there have been 3 hurricanes that hit the gulf... and a 218 mile long path of tornadic destruction through the southern states... so I try to be kind of careful about pushing and pulling the weather around these days! 

Of course, pointing particular weather to any specific place means that the natural weather patterns are disrupted in other places... which can lead to unexpected consequences, unfortunately. 

I do enjoy storms, myself, though... but I also like for people to still have their homes the next day, as well!

Well, I'm finished with an amazing logo design for this company, and they even got every element they asked for, except one, and that wasn't really feasible, anyway.  Even have 3 slightly different versions for them to look at... and a full day ahead of schedule.  

And it even looks pretty darn awesome, I do believe...

We still haven't dried out from the last one. Another storm system was supposed to hit us last night, but it fell apart before it arrived, thank Gaia. Unless it's just a short, light rain, we aren't ready for any more right now.

I know we're supposed to get hit with some strong storms later on today, which can be a good or a bad thing. Hopefully it won't get too bad where you are, Merlin.

The Sea Hawk, with Errol Flynn is set in the late 1500's.  Not technically ancient, though.  Do you need something older than that?

Oh, duh... Ben Hur is set in A.D. 26, and I do believe there is that exact scene.

There is a really short scene in Troy when the myrmidons take the beach it shoes AJAX boat with what appear to be slaves rowing.
