Sometimes they are drawn to our camp by the music. Yes, I do have some synthpop, industrial, and EBM/IDM, and ambient tracks on my playlist. They tend to leave rather quickly though, one way or another. Sometime we intercept them a good 100 feet on approach and run them off before they can case the joint.

Nah... we'll just use them as firewood!  I'm sure they taste terrible... and who knows what kind of drugs they have running around in their systems!

But I DO happen to have a secret for gourmet s'mores that I might be convinced to share... while we're in camp, anyway.

It's a good idea to keep a running perimeter around your camp, because they DO try to slip through.  We don't usually have much that draws them, though... well, except for the open table full of booze, I guess.    But we also have lots of rather large men wandering about, many of whom carry extremely hard wooden walking sticks...    LOL

You can do what a lot of Hollywood couples do on their wedding days/funerals/divorce/sneezing fits to keep the paparazzi away: blast Barbara Streissand's music.

But then we'd all have to walk around with earplugs!!!    LOL  I'd rather se them stumble away with rising knots on their foreheads, anyway... (or used as sacrificial cordwood!)

FYI, I don't know where I'll be cast at this year, as it hasn't been written yet. I should know if I'll be back in Transylvania sometime in June. I can't WAIT to get the call

In other news, my friend from the French Court is having brain surgery this weekend to remove a tumor on her pituitary gland. She's having the doctor save it and put it into a jar for me. Yes, that's right, Grandmama will be sporting a real live brain tumor LOLOL!

Have to agree with Merlin....this thread moves beyond the speed of light. Spend a couple of days off-line due to workus interruptus and see the page count go from something like 300 to 392!

And I've missed soooo many comebacks to being blindingly white, ginger, AND freckled allllll over. (Yes Rani, my better half likes the all-over freckle thing as well)

Good to see folks posting again. 'Twas getting really boring around here.
