I can sing and run at the same time... ;)

Triple meat, triple cheese, right?

*I'll be down Sat afternoon*

Totally just dissolved into a fit of laughter at that mental image...  :P  :D

Too bad I was also drinking cappuccino at the time.  ::)  [headdesk/]

Hey... looks like we might be starting the daily countdown a little early this year!  ;)

Still not enough time for everything I need to do to open. :(

Woo-hoo! Still crossing my fingers on making it out for Opening Weekend.
*Short enough to not reach the pedals, tall enough for the rides at Six Flags!*

I'm splendid. That is all.

(sigh)  Maybe I could just... live down there during the run of Faire.  I may not be able to take the heat all year long, but I can endure ANYTHING for 8 weeks!!!  I mean, I've made it through some fairly serious things in the last few years... what's 8 weeks in TX compared to all that?!?  ;)  :D

I'd have to find a place for us to live, though, and school for Scally... and that would be the hard part.  I think I could probably get away with homeschooling her for a few weeks a year for another couple of years, at least, though... until trigonometry, anyway.  ::)  heheh

*damn, sometimes I really miss being a vagabond...*

Hey, maybe I could talk Ravic into letting me work in the bookstore part time so I wouldn't have to buy tickets!!!  ;)  :D

You offering your backyard as a place for us to pitch our tent, then?  ;)  :D

Too bad we couldn't just set up in the campgrounds for the whole run... and stay there!  I've got a camp shower that I'm thinking of building a simple enclosure for, and I'm planning to get a small table-top gas grill in a couple of weeks, and a small-ish folding table to set it on.  And I actually really enjoy spending several weeks camping... although I'm not exactly sure that's what Faire camping really IS, mind you!  I mean, wall-to-wall tents for who knows HOW many acres, with kitchens, RV's, generators, on-demand hot water heaters and tables that groan and almost buckle under the weight of all the booze bottles sitting on them isn't exactly "roughing it"... ::)  LOL

WHAT?!?  You mean TRF doesn't have it's own CLOUD, yet?!?  Whatever is the world coming to?

Mouse... it would probably horrify you to hear about some of my more... adventurous... camping trips.  ::)  :D

However, I have to tell you that forgetting your car charger while driving across town... also NOT considered "primitive camping"...  :P

I remember this one time I forgot my Diet Lipton Mixed Berry Tea with Citrus AND my black jacopian rice...it. was. hell.

I would call you a smart@$$, but, well...

:P

I have, on occasion, felt positively decadent because I had both a sleeping bag AND a tent... at the SAME TIME!!!  :o

Of course, most of that sort of camping was done when I actually WAS a vagabond, and now I tend to enjoy a few more of the comforts of home when I'm out and about... like my queen size air mattress and 2 inch memory foam topper.  Plus all the really plush bedding from my own bed at home... so, yeah... my decadence meter has adjusted itself somewhat through the years.  ;)

Memory foam? Why not just sleep on someone?

Because things like, ohhh... bones and such tend to get in the way, silly!  And besides, something ALWAYS ends up numb by morning...  ::)  (amateur)

*that works out much better while you're both still awake, anyway!*  ;)

Besides, if you're going to share then it's much more comfy to sleep next to someone, particularly if there's memory foam underneath you both!  :P  :D

Hmmm... supercell tornado rotation, with at least one funnel, and maybe more, on the ground... about 15 miles from my mom's house, right now... and headed our way.  I'm glad they have the storm shelter!!!

I don't think it will hit us, though... looks like it might pass to the north and a bit west, heading NNW...  Hope this system blows itself out before it gets up to the state line, and the Joplin area!  They don't need anything else up there for a while...

UPDATE:
Looks like it's changed direction to ENE, and is headed very close to us, and it's knocking out transformers as it goes, so I might have to get off here in a few minutes and gather up Scally and Io (the rat) and head over to the elem. school for shelter.  We'll see...
