New food this weekend

As part of the Scottish vendors and groups outside the fence near the ship stage there's going to be a food vendor selling New Zealand meat pies. I was told they are like a Scottish "bridie" meat pie, but a full pound of food.

Sad to see the Crepe booth closed but this might help "dull the pain".

I was bummed to see the crepe stand closed too. I'd never had one, but heard they were good. Oh well =/ Hope this new one is a good addition!

I was torn...Father bennigan was there with their "baby's head" but I held strong and got the meat pie.  Perfect!  Sadly, after this weekend they too will be gone.  Wife got the "Breakfast Meat Pie", it too was nummy but I preferred the original.

It's Fat Head Brennan's you silly!!!  And yes I had a few bites of the meat pie on Sat and had breakfast pie on Sun. VERY GOOD!! And it was nice to have my cheese and onion pie too. Now we'll hafta wait til Twig to have again.

Liz, from Fest Friends said they were kind of checking them out for the Minnesota Scottish Fair, so we may have a couple opportunities to eat their stuff if they survive.

We compromised and had the meat pie from the new vendor Saturday and babie's head from Fat Head Brennans on Sunday.  Both were quite yummy!
