Not that far away but far enough that I glad to have Maryland to tied me over.

Looking forward to seeing both new and old friends of our CRF family. Remember to save that last weekend for the tailgate feast when our the extended family from both Clan M'Crack amd R/F is in the house!

The month before opening is when I always start to eyeball my photography gear and wonder what new toy "might come in handy"

If your on cast find me at workshops.  I'll be running around Saturday helping with costuming for the costume swap/sale.  My daughter Emily is making and selling pouches and will have a booth.  That way I can put names to faces!  So many awesome new cast members this year!

and yes, I'm excited but super mega wiped out.  I've still got a ton of renaissance costuming to do on top of working at the Childrens Theater Charlotte costume shop sewing for Beauty and the Beast.  Never mind all the work with the kids for festival.  We have some incredible kids on cast who are gonna be doing some really great stuff!

I got my season pass today and was a bit surprised to find they reduced the pass to the size of a business card....lol
Matters not as long as as card is in hand on opening day!
