Dead Dog Party

Since there are so many more people here that are now participants you should know about the Dead Dog Party / Brunch. There's a brunch the Monday morning after last weekend. It's organized and cooked by participants using surplus perishable food from CKC, as well as stuff the cooks buy themselves to supplement what they have. It's great food and a huge amount of work, and they ask for donations to pay for the food they buy, or if you're broke they ask for help to clean the kitchen. It's a great last huzzah if you can take Monday off from work.

I can't say why but there is an unwritten rule that you will NOT go into the front parking lot for any reason that Monday.


No seriously, this isn't a curiosity just stay away.  Just stay on site and drink mimosas.

Boo.... I wanted to take the day off on Monday, but then they scheduled a stupid meeting bright and early in the morning. Like I'm going to be awake for it anyway....
