My friend in High Point is looking to borrow some garb...

Hey y'all,

I know this is weird, but I thought I'd give it a shot: us rennies are always so awesome when it comes to stuff like this.

My friend Danielle lives in High Point, NC with her hubby and it looks like they are planning to go to the Carolina fest. She is currently 24 weeks pregnant, so I don't think she wants to buy anything -- she's always been very very thin and probably will go back to being so after the baby.

Even with baby she is small, but she is also 5'8" tall. I don't have anything I can send her from here in TX because I am short and *ahem* fluffier, although I'm putting out feelers here, too. Anyone think they might have anything extra to suit her? I'm thinking a dress/chemise or chemise/skirt set, since you don't wanna bodice when you're preggers, but maybe you've got an idea? I've never been pregnant.

Just so you know, she is very conscientious and your garb will be returned in the condition it was loaned. The only sticking point is that she is visually impaired, so either she will have to arrange to meet you for pickup when her husband is off or it would have to be done through the mail or if you would be so good as to drop it off...

I don't have anything to loan but she could consider renting some garb at the costume shop on fairegrounds. They will problably have a wider selection for her to choose from than just borrowing.

Thanks for the suggestion. She may end up doing something similar or even getting something "costumey." I just thought I'd send my feelers out to see if I could do her a favor.
