Hi! I plan tocartridge pleat a med weight cotton twill skirt and am wondering if i should cartridge petticoats also or will it not make a difference... Thank i'm new so hope i put in right place. :D
Not sure if this is too late, but I usually gather my underskirt/petticoats (thinner fabric, less of it) and cartridge pleat my over-skirt (often loads thicker fabric that my sewing machine can't handle when gathered, looks better)
