We will be going to St. Louis Pirate Festival this year the 2nd weekend. Will anybody else be there that weekend?

Just found out that the Musical Blades, http://www.musicalblades.com/ will not be performing this year at the St. Louis Pirate Festival.

Hi everyone!!
Been awhile since I've dropped a note, so I thought I'd do so.
The Fall CD release (High Sea's Drifter) is coming along nicely. We've been working on it non-stop since the Jeff City faire last weekend and will continue non-stop until the Joplin Faire (July 25, 26), at which time all recording should be done and we head in to the mixing/mastering process.
We have finished negotiations and will be performing all seven weekends at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival this year (weekends beginning Labor Day weekend). KC Ren Fest is our hometown faire, and we only did two weekends there last year so we could visit/perform the St Louis Pirate Fest. And though bitter sweet, as we will miss St Louis this fall, we are looking forward to doing a full run again at KCRF this year. More info (stage and show times) to come.
Though not set in stone, we're hoping for a first weekend at KCRF CD release.

Also noticed on the Festival web site ( http://stlpiratefest.com/ ) that all tickets will be $8.00 with kids under 5 free.
I'm a bit late chiming in, but I'll be there with my singles group on the 19th and hanging out at the dead parrot - as usual! lol
Well....Due to circumstances beyond our control, Charity and I will not be able to attend the Pirate Festival this year.
Gonna miss all of you.
We plan on attending the first Saturday.

I am getting better each day, but will not be well enough for the festival. Will miss everyone and hope to see you next year.

Glad you all like my pictures. One of the better parts of faire is sharing. Another is meeting new and old friends.
Additionally, it looks like my son-in-law is going to be bringing his son to the Pirate Festival this year. Maybe the 19th or the 26th. Grandpa gets to play tourguide.

Queen's Gambit (http://www.queens-gambit.com) spent opening weekend of the Pirate Festival sharing the Knights Pub/Cartier Stage with 3 Pints Gone and Shillelagh Law, and we had a blast! Next weekend promises to be even better, as 3 Pints Gone is holding their CD Release Party at Molly Malone's after closing cannon on Saturday night, and QG has been asked to come and offer entertainment during their breaks.
And third weekend, it is rumored that Tullamore will be coming over to the eastern side of the state as well. So those of you who were jonesing for a Celtic Music fix need to come out to Wentzville, MO's Rotary Park during the rest of the weekends in September to see the best Celtic players in the Midwest!
Oh, and QG has two fiddlers now - I'm the one with the white hair.

I am at the German Encampment at 11:30 for the first of the swordfights. Catch me afterwards, if only for a few minutes. I am also at the cannons around 4:45 before the final fight and down at the ship after fight during the final sing.

We arrived at the Faire Sunday, and even though it was only misting, the ***FAIRE was CLOSED*** :'( because it had rained enough earlier that the parking field was ~TOO WET~!!

Looks as if my last day at Pirate Fest will be the last day of Pirate Fest (Sunday).
New ribbon arrived this week, so I've been making new favours. Same Flash-in-a-Kilt design, but new color ribbon to better match my kilt. They're kind of special to me, but you'll have to ask what the story is.
Looking forward to seeing every one.

Captain Logan is quite possibly the CUTEST pirate EVER!!!!!! I love his wee frock coat!!!!!
Oh, I agree Capt Logan is sooo very cute as a pirate. I have never seen him on his feet in his frock coat and it is obvious why he was was the piratest little pirate at the costume contest.
