Post by: Grace "Rum" O'Malley on March 01, 2011, 10:52:33 AM
Male and Female Volunteer actors needed:  Male roles for Spaniards accompanying the Spanish Infante, town Magistrates (jailors and scoundrels) and Village men and women street characters wanted to join the cast of this year's faire, Oct. 1st and 2nd.
If you like to dress in 16th century garb, learn the History of Elizabethan England or want new theater skills for your portfolio, or be Queen Elizabeth's newest BFF, you'll fit in with our cast!    We are looking for serious costumed Spaniards (Rennies, playtrons, thespians, local townsfolk) who already have their gear or are willing to make/purchase clothing this summer.  Out of town Village character performers from other faires who would like to portray visiting characters for faire days or who are interested in  joining our cast and learning the basics of street theater, please contact the cast director at nikkifiv@sbcglobal.net with questions. No experience required.  We provide Spring classes on construction of period garb, history, dialect, street theater, and more.  Auditions for roles are Sunday, March 13th at 2pm at the Hamilton East Public Library (fishers branch), 5 Municipal Way, just off 116th street in downtown Fishers, IN.
