Yea Dallan, that was part of my negotiation to come back this year.  I told them that if they wanted to have ME back, that they could not work that Monday.  Also, if the temperature goes above 80 or it rains, that voids my contract.  They of course agreed, I am just that good.  Now... how do I program this thread to delete if Goldengoose decides to read it?  Hmmmmmmm..

That's what makes the end of MDRF that much more depressing - knowing that the rehearsal process for VARF is coming up.

Ah, but I love the rehearsal process.   :)

Why yes, I am a tad masochistic.  Why do you ask?

Ah, but I love the rehearsal process.   :)

We musicians, however, have rehearsals for the rehearsal.  We get to rehearse the new songs and revisit old songs for the dances.  And if you're doing double duty like me, you get to forego listening to the radio or your normal CD collection for a few months and listen to the five or six new songs for your stage show in order to memorize the words.

And you don't even have the slew of Christmas appearances in between. I start practicing Christmas music no later than Labor Day. My family is so sick of it already they may all convert to Judaism.

They both play lacrosse so we can't make it every weekend. We usually make it at least one weekend either Memorial Weekend or the closing weekend if lacrosse is over.

Master James, I make you no promises, but I am sincerely intending that THIS will be the year I finally make it to VARF.  I will let you know more as my schedule unfolds.

Professor M I truly do hope that you are able to make it this year!  We are much smaller than Pittsburgh and a soft site rather than a hard site but what we lack in size and buildings we more than make up for in entertainment and interactions.  PM me when you know when you are coming and if you are interested, you might be able to do guest cast for a day.
