Greetings good residents of Staffordshire! Let it be known that on 5/31, Scarlett and Morwyn of Morelandshire will be visiting your shire for the first time! And we couldn't be more excited!
From the photos posted, it looks like we'll be in for a wonderful day. Small faires are always
such fun. The cast looks fabulous and I've heard such good things about them. I've also heard
good things about the shopping. And there's a pub!
What more does a wench need? :D

My dear friend Scarlett, It is wonderful to hear that you guys are coming down. We will have a wonderful time! We will be set for tailgate as well!! :o
I'll be visiting for the first time as well the next day, June 1st. I can't wait to visit and check out a different shire than the one I'm used to. Hopefully my nobility costume will be finished with alterations by then, otherwise I'll be down as a peasant.
Hope to get to meet some of you there and put some faces with "names". Until then!
Looks like we'll miss you by a day Colleen! And we missed you when we visited PARF too. Someday our paths will cross...
Lady G - I am SOOOO looking forward to it! I'll call you later this week before we embark on our journey.

I hope I can be there on Saturday to see our visitors, but that is up in the air at this point, just depends on how bad work beats me up this week and what I don't get completed. Just based on meeting you at PARF briefly a year or two ago, I think you'll have a good time...
I should be there Sunday for the flock that are going to invade us from PARF.
Master James, I'll send you an email with what I know about that... we will have a few visiting nobles this weekend (lIncluding Colleen above) to play with and I have a list of names that Doc sent me.
Scarlett and Morwyn - Great news! Will be great to see you! I'm hoping we can make it up to Morlandshire again this year but its going to be hard to make it.

Colleen - We had a few down from PARF this past weekend and I look forward to seeing you. If you do get your court gown completed, come by court and play with us for the day if you would like. Who do you portray for court?

Syrac and I will once more be traveling South. We will be arriving Friday night and will be ready for Tailgate on Saturday morning...and Sunday morning...

Tim~ we will see you back at VARF on the 14th then (I think). It would have been great to see you guys sooner though. The Pittsburgh clan an awesome group of people. Maybe we can convince all of them to come to MDRF this year.

Yes, it sounds like some serious trouble is brewing for this weekend. Morwyn and I shall only be in
attendance on Saturday. I have to take my son to a birthday party as soon as I get back to Pittsburgh on Sunday. The things we do for our kids.

Lady Jai is considering a trip this weekend now that she's heard who's all coming. The stuff we have to do on Saturday is only for a few hours in the middle of the day... we may be able to work something out!

Verily, you were missed on Sunday - Captain Moone in particular was upset that you didn't call him. He was quite impressed by your, erm, lung capacity during his performance of Old Dun Cow.
It was great to finally meet you on Saturday, even if Scotsman tried to sell you a bill of goods about my wedding (just because the Ring Bear had claws and fur, the wedding rings were shackles and Emrys Fleet brought a flock of rat puckers through the wedding during the "Speak now or forever hold your peace" bit does not mean the marriage wasn't legal ;) )
Will - The pleasure was all mine! I had a great time, or so Morwyn tells me. I am glad my singing abilities were appreciated by SOMEONE! This is a nice little faire that I'm sure will only continue to grow and improve.
The cast was wonderful - especially those adorable wee ones who wooed me and Morwyn so splendidly.
But the heat! Yikes! Can the Queen do something about that dreadful Virginia weather? LOL...

It was a wonderful weekend...to share faire with my friends is one of my "simple pleasures" in life. I can not wait to see you all again this summer.

I am sorry we didn't actually get the chance to meet but I was busy with the court. I'm hoping we can swing a weekend up to Pittsburgh again this year but that will really depend as our schedule is pretty packed between faire, other commitments and m'lady's work. If we don't make it this year :'( We'll DEFINITELY make it back there next year. It was a great faire.
