I saw on the TRF Facebook page that Moondawg has passed. His big smile and fantastic pics will be greatly missed. Farewell my friend!
Moondawg will be missed. I always enjoyed talking with him.
Was coming here to say the same. But also to let you know that the photo site he put together will be going away once the hosting payment is done. Take a trip through memory lane and save what you want/can to your comp before they're gone.

Oh, I didn't think about that! I believe he has old photos from TRF. I think my wedding pic is there. I need to go find it!!

There are people attempting to negotiate having the site turned over to them. Hopefully, they will be successful. George was a great old soul. He will be missed.
They may find it difficult to do this. Companies are very leery of fake death take overs. Typically they want a certified death certificate, and even then they may not be willing.
Best bet would probably be to scrape the site of all of its content and then rehost it. It would take some time with all of the photos that they host. But it could be done. I'm surprised he didn't leave the site info with one of his partners. He was a sharp guy. This doesn't seem like something he would have overlooked.
I loved visiting with Moondawg over the years. He always had an interesting story to share and took some really fine photos of the faire experience. Hopefully Gunslinger will be able to manage the photo site.

He did have someone that helped to run the site but I'm not certain how much access he had. I'm not certain if he co-owned the site or anything.
FYI: The last Sunday of Sherwood there was a memorial service at The Seven Sisters for Moondawg and the planted a tree for him on-site.
