Title: Oklahoma Renaissance Festival (OKRF) 2016
Post by: Melkar on June 21, 2016, 03:51:18 PM
This was the first time I went to the Castle in Muskogee, OK for the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival.  Created a couple of galleries, one for people shots, other for grounds.

I love the lake and the meandering walkways in the woods.  Pretty amazing considering the surrounding exterior from the highway side doesn't really hint as to how different it is inside.  (In this respect, it's similar to Scarborough in Waxahachie.  Once you enter the gates, you're in a different place.)

Lovely photos! I love going to the Castle, not only for the Ren Festival, but also for the Halloween fest. You do have a feeling of being in a sort of cocoon once inside; I felt that at Scarborough, and have always felt it in Bristol, my home faire. Thank you for sharing these!

The Texas faires seem to have an abundance of great photographers. I see Melkar at both Scarby and Sherwood, as well as ...jeez, I can think of at least 7 other talents behind the camera.  It isn't something that I have seen so much at the other faires.
