Title: there's also the Muskoka Medieval Faire, Bracebridge, Ont. Aug. 2, 3
Post by: SwordintheStoneCrafts on July 24, 2008, 11:39:59 PM
I know the new Pirate Festival is the same weekend, but by prior commitment I'll be merchanting (http://www.swordinthestone.ca/) at the Muskoka Medieval Faire (http://www.muskokamedievalfaire.ca/) at the Bracebridge Fairgrounds in cottage country August 2nd & 3rd.

A ground combat tournament, jousting, falconry demonstration, the Men in Tights (http://www.menintights.ca/) and other entertainment, a beer tent, kids games and activities, and of course, a bunch of merchants!

Ya know, it's a long weekend... you could take in both Ontario festivals ;).

cheers,
Adam

And we have a wack o' pics! http://tinyurl.com/65qmt2

It's a small show as of yet, and there were some rookie mistakes made here and there, but the organizers are quick studies and the jousters were excellent fare, as were the ground combatants, the raptor show from the Muskoka Wildlife Centre and the Men in Tights.

cheers,
Adam
