Title: The Young Victoria
Post by: joan of arc on December 20, 2009, 12:52:55 PM
I went and saw the Young Victoria yesterday. It is a pretty good period piece with a great dialogue. The backgrounds are very good  :D One of the producers is the Duchess of York. It gives a fresh new look at Queen Victoria and it has a lot of subtle humor  - King William had me cracking up the entire movie. You get to experience some of the ridiculous English palace traditions through Albert point of view.  It is somewhat of a "chick flick", but if I made it through and liked it anyone can  ;D

P.S. In Dallas area it is showing at the Angelika.
