Title: Camp grounds close to GLMF
Post by: Drake Starsong on December 31, 2009, 10:04:59 PM
Hey fellow rennies, while SRF is my home faire, the last 2 years I've ventured out to GLMF and fell in love with it. I been trying to find campsites close to the faire, but have not had any luck. Any suggestions would help! Thanks ! :D

Richards Campground is the closest (about 5 miles away) and probably has the most rennies stay there. Heritage Hills is not much further and is a very nice place that the wife and I have stayed at.

Yeah, a lot of the vendors and performers stay at Richards.
Never been there myself, but have heard them talk about it.

Richard's Campground is maybe like 10 minutes away from site.  the majority of the participants do stay there.  for a tent its like...$8 a nite I believe.  its located just outside of the town square for Thompson, OH

Morgan, you rascal!  What are you thinking?  You've offered a list of campgrounds outside of Cincinnati!  That's just fine if you don't mind a 4 hour drive each way!  I think the list that Higgins offered is a bit closer.

Not sure why yours shows Cinncy...when I click on it, it shows campgrounds in and around Geneva, the same list as Higgins...unless you're not on Page 1 (check at the bottom of the list...there are, like 8 pages...)
