I live just an hour away and I've been to Greenfield Village several times as a little kid, but I somehow didn't know about this until I saw it on Tartanic's site earlier. Now I'm panicking because I don't have the garb ???. I'm thinking it'll be easier to Salvation Army then faire garb though, so once my financial aid comes in in a few weeks I'm going to go a-huntin'. If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know!!

I just registered yesterday.  I'm not sure if we'll be able to go on Thursday.

And I got my daughter a great outfit by going to secondhand stores.   It depends what look you want to go for.  She's an air pirate so we got her this very cool olive khaki jacket with brass buttons, an eyelet lace tank top, and some great khaki capri's.  It's something she could wear everyday really but when we pair it up with a costume aviator's cap my parents had it's instant sky pirate.

Hi. Thanks for a neat link to other activities in May.  I can't cause I have too much to do.  But I wanted to add that
I have affordable clothing for sale.  Natural fibers, colors, many diff sizes.  Don't know much about steampunk, so
you'd have to see what could "cross over". I"m here in southeast Michigan.  I have a live -sales event
Sat. & Sun, May 22, 23rd in Port HUron. I sometimes sell at my local Fest, (Holly) MI Ren Faire.  I also am willing
to bring clothes for "live shopping", like meeting up at a Mall.. and you try on clothes (or look at mugs, etc.)
I also ship to lower 48 U.S. States.  I'm gearing up for late May, so my website is changing.  Feel free to ask
question. --Shannon, aka Lady Shadowcat, aka The Colonial Peddler
