Title: Tillie's Bean Fundraiser

Anyone interested in attending this?

Minneapolis community coffee shop, Tillie's Bean 2, is hosting a Ren Fest "Unlaced" event at their coffee shop located on the corner of Franklin and Nicollet Avenues on Saturday, January 30, 2010 from 9 am – 9 pm.  The event costs $5 and offers an entire day's worth of entertainment.  The event will help Tillie's Bean raise funds to apply for a wine and beer license.

Scheduled acts include:
•    Laughing Hearts
•    The Dregs
•    The Sidhe
•    John Sopkowiak
•    Other performers TBA

A character portrait artist and juggling lessons will also be available at this family friendly event. 

Who is Tillie's Bean:
Tillie's Bean is a family owned coffee shop that offers home baked goods and breakfast all day long.  The owners run Tillie's Bean with assistance from their family members and runs like well-caffeinated clockwork.  Their award-winning coffee can be found at two locations: Franklin and Nicollet Avenues (phone: 612.354.2007) and 2803 East 38th Street (phone: 612.276.0100) , both in Minneapolis.  Tillie's Bean can also be found at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and are known to help support the neighborhood and arts community by hosting fundraising and performance events.  For more information, visit http://www.tilliesb ean.com.

I'm hoping to make it out for this. Seems to me Dregs are on 2-3p so I'll try to make it there at least for that. I am on kid duty part of that day so we'll see about the other gigs

I'm really going to try to make it at some point. I love Tillie's. Not sure what time yet though.

Since I can't seem to find an updated schedule of who is playing when I'm not sure when I'm going either. I do have the boys for part of the day so?????????????????

The Dregs are playing at 2-3. It looks like I'll be going pretty much right away in the morning; not sure if there'll be any entertainment that early...

ok so i called cuz i wanted to ask if there was a chrge for the kids which there is not. tillies is havin trouble with their puter so thats why there is no up date but theyr hopin friends will update soon so stay tuned to facebook but anyways she said theres a variety hr (or 2 hrs) after the dregs but she didnt know really what else there was and how the juggler would go.

This is all I know!!!!!! I'll prolly go in time for the Dregs. Not sure how long I'll stay tho.

We had a great time at Tillie's Bean yesterday afternoon; arrived in time to see the Dregs, stayed for most of the variety pack, and then came back to catch the end of the Laughing Hearts Pub Band. 

I really hope they met their goal!

A friend and I went from 10 until about noon and listened to the Sidhe. There weren't a lot of people there yet when we got there, but it was really picking up by the time we left. I hope they met their goal, too!
