Title: MEN IN KILTS
Post by: Madge Estes on February 12, 2010, 11:32:00 AM
Yep, you know it.  It's Highland Fling, and that means Men in Kilts.

Queen Catherine will once again be having her Men in Kilts competition at 3pm on the Tower Stage.  So come on out and shout for the guys...

Just, please don't tell the king about the queen's (mis)behavior!

Oh boy! In these temps. (mid-50's with a 20-degree wind chill dropping the temperature even further), that's just cruel!  ;)

I am working on a Kilt Belt as we speak. I do believe that I will brave the cold and throw me hat in the ring (so to speak)...

You all know about shrinkage right?

My newb-to-faire Colombian BF will be donning his first kilt.  It should be a hoot.  DEFINITELY making him go!  Besides, he's Fabio, he's unforgettable, right?  :)

But in Scotland - where they wear kilts - that's warm weather.

We were there in June, and it was in the 40's and 50's in the mornings and evenings.  In the heat of the day, a couple of days it got into the low 60's.

Well, mickey, when you drop your drawers ON STAGE, of course you're gonna win.  Between you and the military guy, poor Fabio was screwed.

not sure if that is the best turn of phrase considering the context.
