Ooh, a nice 3 day weekend there... very very cool!!  Love the idea of an extended season, 6 isn't enough with the busy schedule we have!  We're only getting to come 3 this yr, but with 7 weekends to choose from, hopefully we'll get to make even more!!

I hope that Friday falls on one of the weeks I have Friday off!  (Not that I wouldn't take vacation to have a three-day weekend at faire, just be nice not to have to.)

So happy to have seen Sherwood Forest Faire this past weekend.  A wondrous journey into escapism with fun friends, talented cast and exceptional performers.  I doubt that any faire has ever had better planning than Sherwood.  Nicely done, my friends.  Look forward to experiencing this wonderful, magical place again next year!

Just noticed that the "Policies, Rules, Regulations and General Information (http://www.sherwoodforestfaire.com/rules.htm)" page on the web site still has 2010 information.

Take Care,

Just now getting a chance to *really* view all the postings.  What is the submission deadline for stage shows for the 2011 season?

Thanks ever so much!

I'm already working to stockpile vacation time around Sherwood, so I have that Friday off, perhaps a Monday off on other weeks so I can recover and have some time to get back to normal before getting to work.

can any tell me
if the general camping area will be able to accept travel trailers yet?

I spent two week ends last season at Bastrop State Park
not good once you indulge in the various refreshments from the Pub ;

would preferr to stay at the faire, but I am not a member of any clan; as we have only been attend Ren fairs for 4 years now

Does anybody know if SWFF will have a weekend where it will be open after hours to raise money for the arts like last year?  That was very extreem and I would like to do that again.

Lord Virgo, I read somewhere on here that they will be doing that most nights it's open. I hope so. Missed going back in last year due to cold and losing my feet  ???

I think I can safely say that the pub area will be open after hours, however, the benefit for Rescu only occurred once last year and I have not seen any announcement on whether there will be another benefit this year. I would suspect that if it did well last year, that they may attempt it again this year.  And with enough prior notice, more of us may have extra cash on hand to donate and participate in the auction.

For the trailer question, pls reach out to camp master mike at camping@sherwoodforestfaire.com.

There are also many welcoming clans, maybe try the yahoo group. U can get there from the website www.sherwoodforestfaire.com

To dispel a myth, the pub is not open after hours, with the exception of the rescu auction which I assume we'll do again.

Peace, love, and sharp swords,
George
