Title: Home
Post by: Dracconia on May 30, 2008, 12:03:04 AM
There is a place where stories are told
Where men are brave, beautiful, bold
Taken daily are walks along streams
Oaths and lives to Kings, Queens

Home

Somewhere behind the horizon I see
An elf lurks calling out to me
The voice I hear
Rides the tide, like music, soft, clear

Home

Words are spoken, deeds done
Promises made, broken, not one
Wars are waged,  castles fall
"All for one, one for all"

Home

Ladies fair, wenchs wild
Elders wise, innocent the child
Each they love, each they brawl
In this place we call

Home

Tisn't a place I've seen
Nor a place I've been
Tisn't a place I've touched
Tisn't a life I've clutched

But

I smell the scents that lead me
I taste the bread, the meat, the mead
I see Her Majesty, His Royal Self
All through the eyes of this elf....

Home

A long walk ahead
Behind nothing but dread
In my sight is joy, laughter, places to roam
For I have found my way ....
