Title: Shop for sale at Sherwood!
Post by: tortugatraders on April 13, 2010, 11:09:00 AM
Good day!

We are looking to sell our shop out at Sherwood.  If you were out there this season, we were the ever changing shop that got bigger and bigger every weekend :)  We are directly across from the front gates.  Its a fantastic location and a great shop.  We have a gigantic deck and a very large building. The building is 28X16 and sits upon a 32X36 deck.  We had plans to continue the shop all the way to the back of the deck and build up.  Right now the shop has 5 tall doorways, 4 windows, a dressing room, a wrap around counter, and skylights! The roped off deck gives the shop a pier look.  There is a wheelchair ramp and it's handicap (and stroller) accessible.  As for your merchandise, you'll have to get that juried in by the park owners.  Right now we are just looking for interst in someone buying the shop.  We are looking to sell it for  $18,000.
We received endless compliments on the shop and it really has the best location.  There is a lot of potential to build on this shop and make it your own.
Please email/call if interested! I can't figure out how to put pics on here, so email if you'd like to see pics.
Thanks!
Have a good one,
Cari

This shop is indeed in a prime location!  The Faire is anxious to see it occupied by a vendor who will help make a great first impression as patrons stroll through our front gate.

The sale of any booth at Sherwood Forest Faire will require Faire approval.  Approval for this particular booth is contingent upon the following:

1) that if you were applying on your own you would be juried in (i.e., your goods have to be up to our standard and a they have to not disrupt the balance of the mix of goods we already have - the application will be posted on our website soon which will help you convey the information we require to us)
2) that you submit plans on how you intend to finish the booth.  Although impressive in stature and location the booth requires finishing touches.  For example the plywood surface and seams between panels are visible under the paint.  That at a bare minimum must be rectified.  All construction must cease by January 31st 2011.
