...have to prune the feathers in your hat?
I had to weed out the explosion of feathers that overtook my hat tonight, since we're preparing for our first trip down to TNRF. So I'm curious how often others have to go through this process?
Or anything else for that matter? Wardrobe, etc.? ;D
I don't know just wanted to say see you at TNRF.

See you there :) There will be a good group of us heading down there for opening weekend.
Well I did retire a black & white copy of the Bronzino dress a couple of years ago.
It had been cleaned so many times that the black parts of the pattern were looking a little grayish.
My flat caps tend to lose the smaller spads, so i find I'm adding feathers every 2-3 years.
I must have a really dirty mind. I had to check out this thread! Pardon me....
Me too, sorry.
I had to prune the captains hat after last year. You couldn't the hat through the feathers. Almost as bad as yours...... Mine is still growing and hasn't needed to be pruned yet. In fact Seleyna added some of hers to mine.
Ditto the other smut heads. :-[ ::) ;D
:o ;D ::)

Hey, you say that like it's a bad thing. :P ;D
I have the same bedraggled old feathers in my cavalier hat from 15 years ago. I like them with the "lived-in" look -also why my bucket top boots are scuffed not spit-polished. I played a "workin' soldier"
