Title: If you could know the truth about any one thing, what would it be?

Let's imagine that you have a crystal ball. And with this crystal ball you can find out the absolute truth about any single event, person, or time period etc. You only get one shot at this, hypothetically, so what would you want to know?

Would you want to know if there was gov't involvement in 9/11? Would you ask it if there is a personal god? What is the cafeteria serving for lunch next wednesday? What would you pick?

And after you find out the truth, would you share the information that you learned with others or keep it to yourself?

I would inquire as to the thoughts and actions surrounding a particular personal event.

i would ascertain the truth about a certain event in 2006 which i've had regrets about every since
as for telling others well only if they inquired

I would find out whether Gryffinshyre would become a reality, because I am spending a lot of time and effort, so I would do otherwise if I knew it was not going to find funding--- I wouldn't bother telling anyone.

I want to know what exactly is going to happen on December 21, 2012 so that I could plan accordingly.  Either for survival or a great party.  Really depends on the info and I would share with everybody.

I would also like to know what Jacques Sauniere found at Rennes-le-Chateau.

Did Atlantis really exist?

Did the biblical "Flood" cover the entire planet or just a specific area?

And most of all I would like to have a sit down talk with Jesus.

I guess it would be nice to know the exact bracket results of next year's March Madness -- then I'd take a quick trip to Vegas and would only share the information when I placed my bet.

I would have to give that a great deal of thought.  There are a lot of things I would like to know the answer to, but to narrow it down to just one... that would be extremely hard to do.  Maybe the question will come to me in a day or two...

I would want to know what happened to my brother.  He is a missing person and we haven't any idea what happened, it would be nice to finally have those answers.

Amelia disappeared in a different ocean. It would be nice to know her fate and the mysteries of the Bermuda triangle.

Very easy, of course!!!  I work for NASA, this stuff really is real!!  If you'd ever seen the moon rocks they have, you'd know, or mission control where they launched from, or all the millions of pics, or the vehicles post re-entry.... and so on!!

Hm, that's pretty nuts, if u go a "smiting" u might just get a "smitten"...

And Rani, I'm with you on the question of if there are extra terrestrial and if so, will we ever get to meet them as a world?

Or when will we as a species be able to planet distant stars?

Are wormholes real?

Is time travel possible and will we ever accomplish it?

I think that depends a great deal with what type of pain it is.  There are many remedies available but they are all somewhat specialized to that pain.

I have a family member a few generations back that died under mysterious circumstances.  I'd love to know the details as to how she died.  I have a few ideas about what might have happened but no hard proof.
