Along with my own sadness at losing such a wonderful talent, I thought of you first, Wenchie!  An icon for those of us who saw it all happen.

I already knew I was getting old when I heard Jethro Tull on Muzak. This is a kick in the head.

I was always a huge Dennis Hopper fan.  Sorry to see he lost his battle with cancer.  I will miss him.

;D Great line from one of our favourite movies! I'm amazed at the number of people totally unaware of the film. Not great cinema, but great fun for us aging hippies...

You will be missed!

"Where did you get your driver's license? I haven't had a rush like that since the Berkely riots!'

I highly recommend Flashback for any Dennis Hopper fans. Who knew he could be so funny?

Flashback was a great movie! Dennis Hopper was a very talented man. He will be missed. At least we can still enjoy him in all his roles.

I had no idea that True Grit was being done again until you said "original."  He looked like a teenager in True Grit, but was 33 at the time. I agree with Welsh Wench, though. If you like Hopper and haven't seen Flashback, you've missed a gem and should rectify the situation at earliest possible convenience.
