Salutations ... we're almost to counting single days before the first opening cannon!
I though I'd open a post so folks could say where they are working (or just wandering), so not only can we find each other, but visitors can also track us down ...
And that's not all ... what about have TWO group photos? One opening weekend at some point, and another a few weeks before close?
So here's the in-progress list ... just post and I'll update as we go along ...

Next GROUP PHOTOS attempt: Any thoughts?
Working! I'll be at Legacy Forge!
Just wondering with me Da Vinci Fairy Box
Oh and I'm up for any photo
I'll be up front at the Costume shop again and always up for a photo shoot.
Im at the Garland shop.
I cant do the photo opening weekend its too crazy. Maybe I can shoot for the other one just as long as its not closing either.
We're not certain yet, but probably on cast. :D
Therefore, we're not sure what our availability for photo shoots will be, but we'll certainly try to be there, "work" schedule permitting.
Ok......'ere's a strange thought frum a wanderin' nomadic pirate likz meself.........
Jus a pirate kuncepzhun now ye seez.........
How bout those dat do not work at faire make rounds t' those dat do an sidetrack 'em fer a quickie photog-op.
Dis way, ye getz t' take many DIFFERENT settings - pictures wit those in thaar workin' elementalz.
*Me, I'll be round but ye won't be noticin' me right off.....*
I will be visiting as often as possible.
First and Second Saturday for sure, we'll see after that.
Playing...so wandering, a lot. My goal is to explore the "other half" of the faire a lot more. From front gate, all the stuff to the right.
The trouble with finding those who are working and trying to get pictures with them at work is that they're often (speaking from experience, anyway) too busy to get the chance unless you hit at the right time (i.e. before the lunch hour). Especially on opening weekend. :-/ But I bet if you're persistent you can do it!
I haven't gotten my "official" location yet but ten bucks says I'll be right back where I've been for the last five years, which is the soda booth directly across from the Rose stage, or next door to the Royal Pavilion.
And I'm down for a group photo, it would just have to be a couple minutes after cannon, if possible.
I am as i have been. :D tasked to handle the largest and smallest entertainers at the faire. I am not entertaining anyone (oh no not me ). I am a handler. if someone is, by happenstance, entertained, it is certainly unintentional on my part, and I apologize. ::) ;)
i.e. you will find me either behind a 4 year old, or in front of my 2 ton girlfriend.
Fair warning, the small one has become quite fond of the story of Oliver Twist, and fancies himself quite "artfull". 8)
leave a hankie hangin out of yer pouch if ye wanna play
Working - Gazebo just inside the gate take the road to the left at the fork.
Photos are great. Only available after cannon, and depends on what my carpoolies have going on too.
If I can make it great, but if not, my feelings won't be hurt.

Oh, I love this...count me in! (Don't worry, I'll put it in an "appropriate" place ;) )
So far I know for sure that I'll be there the 27th of June. No opening weekend plans of yet. No plans for the rest of season either, still feeling things out. :)
I will be at Front Gate, Upper Loop, Lower Loop, Elephant Loop, Pantries, Puke & Snot's Mountain, well out of range of Paige's trunk, in other words, ubiquitous, if tired.
I should warn all photographers, though--due to the almost complete lack of his presence online, it is obvious that the Professor does not show up on film.
Best!

I happen to know that the Professor is, in fact, NOT invisible. How then to explain his lack of online presence? I suspect it is because he talks so fast that he simply leaves the megapixies dazzled and unable to paint!
Breaking news: It has now been confirmed that the Baron and Baroness will be appearing on cast this season, part time on the Royal Court, part time as free-lancing nobility in the lanes! :o

Grammercy, Mistress Zoe. We look forward to hanging our in your vicinity with great pleasure.
Huzzah to the Baron and Baroness! I'm looking forward to seeing you - soon!
I will be at the next best thing to holy water... garlic. I'm so geeked. Pictures... if they are at the end of day or the beginning, it will work fine for me.
Congrats to the Baron and Baroness! Need to work on my groveling to the nobility.
Hmm... where can I hang a handkerchief from my habit?
Beginning, end or somewhere in between as long as it's on the first or last day I definitely want to be one of the photog's taking this shot.

Grammercy, HTT. And your grovel was in fine working order the last time we saw it!
Group picture sounds like a marvelous idea. We can be flexible since we'll just be wandering & frolicing! Opening day would be great...as would closing day too. Since I'm always behind the camera, it may be nice to actually be in a photo for a change. Huzzah to the Baron & Baroness on their decision to become cast members. Can't wait to see you both in 5 days & 25 mins (not like I'm really counting or anything)! Also looking forward to seeing Lord Gauwyn & Lady Adidlay in July! We'll be sure to do a group photo upon your arrival!!

Mornings are usually tough for those of us who work booths, just because we're inside the gates well before cannon...speaking for my fellow foodies I know that roughly 15-20 minutes after cannon (about 6:45 real people time) is the easiest to manage...
We need a "decider guy"...or gal...

Ok Zoe I am not sure what you mean by "real people time" but I hope its not really 6:45 our time cause while I would show up there is no way I'm dragging my wife out of bed at around 4:00 to get ready and be down there by then. Please tell me that the cannon doesn't go off 3 1/2 hours before the gates open :o!!!!
As for a decider guy I'm game - just after cannon it is by decree of the new guy who probably doesn't really get a vote on anything but is acting all in charge - man sounds like one of those photographers who think they're all that ;D.

4am Skip? WOW you are harsh. I drag myself out between 5-6;30, get in the shower, do something with my hair, put on make-up. Partially dress (Chemise and shoes and bloomers) Make sandwiches, drag what needs to go to the car and head out between 7:30 - 8 and get to gate by 9 with great parking. And I live in way north Loveland. Once on grounds, then I finish dressing. Try wearing a fathingale for 1.5 hours in a car along with ALL the layers in a noble dress and French Hood/Gabled Hood when your head already hits the roof of the car (I'm very tall)
Oh and thanks Professor, I knew you had seen the pics. And the wanted part... thats because you are wanted to teach others ALL of that knowledge you have in that head of yours. I'm begining to think your really a android with a 1 million terrbits of stored data.
Cannon goes off at 10 sharp

Thanks you Lady de Laney for clearing that up and trust me I have no intention of getting up at 4 am to drive down to the faire. I mean as you can see I do need a little extra time to fix my hair but not that much time ;D.
Ok then I still call for a group shot right after opening cannon since I don't have to get there by 6:30.
We have some things in common, I live in North Loveland and also scrape my head in certain cars (maybe that's where the hair went) and it takes me lots of time to get ready - ok two out of three anyway.
Haha, no, I meant Post Meridian on that 6:45, I should have clarified. No way in hell I would get up at 4am either!! :)
The earliest I drag my bum outta bed on fair days is 6:30 lol. The trick this year is getting the little monster used to early mornings :-\
I'll be up at 4am opening day. And hopefully most of the way through my work day.
I'm going in all early in hopes of making opening gate first day. If not first day, certainly the following week.
OK Zoe ... you called it! Opening day, 6:45pm-ish (after closing cannon) near front/main gate. Can repeat during the season ... since most of us end up there anyways. ;D
Photo op and meet n greet at noon at Dancing Bear ...
have fun all. I most likely won't make the closting one and will have to see about the afternoon one

To randomly hijack this thread:
Like a virulent plague or papercut on your tongue, the dragon is back to frighten small children and eat drunkards. Hopefully this time around I'll actually get to meet some of the awesome people here in real life. Also: the dragon is offering favors for people over three now (marbles+claws=bad idea), so please come ask for one/exchange favors with me! Make the time that I put into the little buggers worth something please? See you all at faire tomorrow!
Wandering! With my fairy-lets (at least a couple times) and Mayhem!....then just by meself.
Possibly with a new "adopted" fairy sister .....suspense!!!!!
Working, shop, The Enchanted Hat, and wandering whenever I'm not working.
I hope we can have a group photo on closing weekend as well since some of us did not make it to opening weekend.
I'll be elsewhere this weekend. I got both days off work, and they filled up with other things. Medieval Festival on Sat, Tea at the Brown Palace Sunday. Have fun ya'all.
Since we will be facing invasion this weekend ... what say we try to have a group photo Saturday, shortly after closing cannon?
Sounds a good to me
So the first of hopefully several photos was Saturday, who is up for another round? We still have some RF visitors, and Skip will be making an appearance. =)
