I know they changed their name from something else...Danger Committee!
(Hey, did anyone see the "America's Got Talent" they were on?)
I miss the Queen of Tarts. She was funny!
Tory Steller, and Danger Committee.
Ferret
The Dregs, especially Suze.
I've always liked that the Wacky Chickens are mostly always "on stage" and entertaining people in the street even when they are not on a stage whereas some stage acts only interact with the audience during their scheduled shows.
I like the guy who makes the pickle sculptures

I've only visited MNRF once (from TX), back in 1996.
Does anyone remember if the Flaming Idiots juggling trio were performing at MNRF in the mid-90's?

Yup, I think my sister-in-law at Olde World Wear may have made new doublets for them at one point back then

I thought I remembered seeing two acts I knew from Scarborough Faire (near Dallas) when I visited MNRF in 1996 -
The Flaming Idiots, and John Karger, with his
Last Chance Forever Birds of Prey Show. I enjoyed both shows.
Yeah, John Karger was a long term fixture at MNRF at the falconer's stage, but my understanding is that he left when MNRF wouldn't agree to a deal for rebuilding the old mews housing the birds.
Speaking of which a friend who is also a long term fixture at MNRF one day walked his little lap dog too close to the Falconer's Stage during a show and one of the birds went for his dog. Our friend yelled and jerked the leash before there was any damage done, but stopped walking the dog on that end of site...
Bold and Stupid Men, i miss them :(
Mistress Bawd! I sure do miss her!!
I've only had the pleasure of MNRF once (back in 2005).
I LOVED Puke n' Snot! (Seriously, I was holding my sides as I busted a gut laughing!) I even bought a cd and t-shirt right after their act.
I also love watching Zilch the Tory Steller! I had just seen him at Scarby earlier that season - I was so happy to see a "familiar face" that I went up and introduced myself. Super nice guy!
A couple of years go by when I got to see him AGAIN at Carolina RF. When I went to greet him his eyes got BIG and he says "Who ARE you?!? Are you malking stee?!". I replied "Mho Hee?" while pointing at myself. He just rolled his eyes, shook his head and said "Voy eeeh."

OK, now you've reminded me that I knew three acts from Scarborough Faire. Terry Foy (a.k.a- Zilch) is a really nice guy. Back in 2001, when we were talking one afternoon at Scarby, I mentioned that I was going to visit Ireland with my parents later that year. He remarked that he and his family had been in Ireland a year or so earlier visiting their Irish relatives, and recommended that
Achill Island (http://www.achilltourism.com/) was well worth visiting. We did, and it was. The pictures I took in England, Scotland, and Ireland are in a Set on my Flickr account:

The Girl and I finally caught their act at Twig this year. They are quite funny, and seem very nice too. I was pleasantly surprised.
The Dregs
Danger Committee (yes, I saw them, and they should have gone on to Hollywood!)
Wacky Chickens
Wolgemut
Twig
Every year, I find more favorites! I especially like watching the street characters interact with each other and paytrons!
Two Children Left Behind
Unfortunately I was only a patron once before joining street, and I don't get to watch much as a street character... but I can tell you my favorite group to interact with:
THE PEASANTS! they are so fun to be around and just make up some of the best stuff.
I also love dancing with the Morris Dancers.
But the only show I remember from when I was a patron just that once was the Wacky Chickens so they must have been great.

As moderator of the Peasant listserv, and the Peasant Union #2 Steward, I thank you for your wonderful compliment! We hope to have our website (www.peasants-for-hire.com) up and running sometime this year.
Zilch the Torysteller(we have been Zilch fans since 1979
The Dregs
Puke n' Snot
The Falconer's show
Watching everyone who is dressed in garb.
The Baroness and I are long-time fans of Ziltch. It broke our hearts when he stopped coming to Colorado (our home Faire), and we look very much forward to seeing him in MN this season.
