Greetings,
As the days wind down to the start of fair I am filled with excitement as well as nervousness. We have put in requests for help in the help wanted but have had no luck as of yet, and we expect this to be a great season. Can anybody tell how the economy is doing up in Minnesota and if they think it might impact this year's attendance? Also, if you know anyone that might be interested in working this year, would you please pass along our email, LadyAnneBonelyn@aol.com or have them respond on the help wanted post? We truly love MRF and the friends we have made. Thanks, and have a wonderful day. :)
Try posting your help wanted to the MRFfriends Elist which includes both participants and patrons

or there's a participants-only E-list at

Our sales have been down at all of the events we've done around the Midwest so far this year, but our online sales are up. Minnesota's unemployment rate dipped to a seasonally adjusted 6.8 percent in June well below the U.S. rate of 9.5 percent in June. I think the thing to hope for is the "staycations" where people stay at home and do local activities rather than travel.
Thanks so much for your help. We are hoping for a great season. Do you know Lady Donna Royce by chance? We are trying to get in touch with her as someone who might want to help out. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Lady Donna is on facebook. I will forward her your message :)
