Had to move to OKC for a while. Just looking for like minded people in the area.
Ummmm, don't want to seem stupid .... but what is OKC ... Oklahoma City? That is my best guess .. and my final answer ;D

You are correct sir. ;D
I would say yes that there is. The reason I say this is in OKC and Norman there is a LARPing group called the IFGS (International Fantasy Gaming Society) This is like live D&D. Having once belonged to the parent group in Boulder, CO (Go figure Boulder is a strange place on it's own) I meet many from OK that did the Norman faire and visited other faires. Are they or others like them on this forum? I have no idea. But check out www.ifgs.org (http://www.ifgs.org) and thiis MAY lead you to some.
I live near Tulsa. Is that close enough? I don't LARP but I attend most of the faires around the state. There's a new Medieval Faire in Tulsa in August. Tulsa's Scottish Games happen in September. Wichita should have a Ren faire in late September or early October. Fayetteville, Arkansas has 1 on the last weekend of October. If you can catch Norman's Medieval Faire next spring, seize the day! It's better than the OK Ren Faire in May.
I'm shocked that that forgot to mention the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival held every year at The Castle in Muskogee. Held on all four weekends in May every year. It's well worth the trip, next best is Scarborough or Kansas City. Here's a link to my OK RenFest photo gallery from this year to you'll know if it's worth the trip.....

I discovered yesterday that Wichita's faire is on the weekend of October 18th. It is listed on www.faires.com. Tulsa's new Medieval Faire is not there yet. It's website is www.kingschampion.com
HUZZAH!
Sorry for the late reply (3 months...) but I just discovered this forum recently and have been trying to catch up with as many threads as possible.
I am in OKC, and yes, the Norman Medieval Fair is lots of fun! In fact... I would like to invite you to come visit the new Gypsy Encampment which myself and some friends will be debuting next season. We are actively recruiting Gypsies at the moment, for a non-salaried gig to be sure, but there is the promise of whatever we can glean by passing the hat!

Not really the gypsy type but would love to meet up with your and your group.
Bristow will be hosting the Messina Italian Renaissance Festival in 2 weeks. Bristow is on I-44 about 3/4 of the way to Tulsa. I also heard that 1 of the casinos in Shawnee will be having a Medieval Faire the 1st full weekend of November. Here are links to those events.
