Title: LABOR DAY WEEKEND BASH
Post by: rengypsy on August 19, 2010, 10:09:23 AM
looks like Brian has a fun time planned for us on Sunday afternoon--family games.

both evenings, we will gather at the seven sisters for cover dish and activities late into the night around a fire.

hoping the fire twirlers, dancers, drummers, etc will fill the seven sisters those nites.

camping opens (free) on Friday afternoon around 3 or 4pm. closes Monday at 1pm.

plan on attending.

work days in the mornings of Saturday and Sunday.

no, the campgrounds are pretty much the same.  there is more clearing planned, but they will still not facilitate campers of any size.  no electrical or dump stations.  years away, i would bet.

we will add an area in the parking lot that can accommodate the parking of self contained campers/rvs...but that wont happen until closer to faire opening.

Is it just the camp grounds that are open?  Or can we get on the festival site for work/cleanup?

Rennie on a budget...in lieu of a covered dish, what is a good alternative..or a suggestion for a covered dish for a person making a two hour trek?
