They are like 1/4th the size! What a ripoff!
Uh oh. I seemed to remember last year they were a little smaller too.
I guess even the turkeys are cutting back in this economy...
Turkey downsizing. What is the world coming to? Remember when you could feed two people on a single drumstick?
The vendors tried selling dinky legs here a couple years ago, they were buying them from Walmart in 2 packs that are sold by the pound, and they were barely bigger than a large chicken drumstick. At first we speculated they may have tried using the 'drumettes' from the wing (we were wrong, they actually do sell drumsticks that tiny).
We raised a stink (some of the peasants didn't bathe for days, and we moved a couple of the porta-potties closer to their end of the food court), and this year the huge legs came back. Still $7-$8 bucks but awesome once again. Demand quality and ye shall get it!
Booooo!!!! I hope they change that before I get my one and only Turkey Leg for the season... Always have to get at least one.. So gross, but OH SO GOOD!! :D

agreed, but I am waiting to see if they get bigger.
Maybe the emu farm went out of business and they had to switch to turkey.
Hmm, maybe I saw it wrong, but all the legs I saw partons eating seemed to be the normal size...?
Nooooooooooo!!!! :(
