What are yours? If you have plans &/or a costume for Halloween & wish to share, then here's the place to do it. As for plans, I don't know just yet, but I do have a costume I'm putting together: I'm going as the green fairy (think Mulon Ruge...) ;D
The absinthe fairy...nice :)
I will be Ramona Flowers (from Scott Pilgrim vs the World). I'm pretty much done getting everything together...I just need to finish her hammer.
As for plans...My roomie and I are having a halloween party the night before...then the day of I will be at a wedding (in costume!) and then at another halloween party...I'm sure I'll end up hitting up like 3 other halloween parties in the process
Can I join you Ariel?? I think I will be taking 4-6 kids trick-or-treating, all by my lonesome (Hubby has to leave for some type of training that morning). Probably dressed in danes and who knows what the kids will be wearing yet.
haha...well you're definitely welcome to come to my halloween party if you are anywhere near denton, tx...
Me too, me too! But Tx is so far away. Hopefully soon though. Merry Samhain to all!!!
Oh I'll be dressed in garb, as always, Pirate, Woodsman (think Robin Hood meets Mad Max). My favorite hgoliday of the year.
Jay Byrd
watch the spirits. The veil is thinest at this time.
Seconded! Happy Samhain to all pagans out there & Happy Halloween to everyone else! ;D

I wish. But too far for me to travel at the moment.
Well, I had been informed by my renlet that we were to be Faeries this year for AHE at TRF, but that was before we visited King's Champion MF, where she was quite firmly converted into a little pirate hellion, complete with (wooden) sword and eye patch, so I now get to choose my own costume! Hmmmm... I wonder.
Galena, IL has the most incredible Halloween parade I've ever seen. It beats the Christmas parade & the Fourth of July parade, both of which are great, hands down.
Lord Stephen bought a new (used) truck, and this morning at breakfast with friends, we all decided to enter the truck as a float for our restaurant, The Perry Street Brasserie. We have a life sized statue of a knight, plus we think we can borrow some Medieval looking chairs from church, and we will dress the truck up in sumptuous fabrics, maybe a table & candelabra, and of course, garbed to the hilt!
As of right now I plan on bringing my three girls out trick-or-treating early then handing out candy. BUT if we find someone to rento our house soon we may be finishing up moving on Halloween. Poor kids... =(
Well, I was planning on making a Suki costume, from Avatar: the Last Airbender (cartoon, not movie), but time has gotten away from me, and I don't think I'll be able to make it. So, I'll be rifiling through my costume closet and putting something together, just don't know what.
As for plans, husband and I will be going to a circus show (featuring people from Circue du Soliel!)/dance on the 30th. No idea for night-of, yet. :)

Ha Ha! I was thinking of the same costume! I have a deep rooted respect for the old Tinkerbell and debated being her than got angry about the new good do-er Tink so the green fairy was the next reasonable jump!
BUT
I might be going to West Hollywood and might want to think of something a little...less and a bit...more.
Perhaps Harley Quinn from batman?
I like that idea! go for it! ;D Yeah, I find it funny how she's become so popular in the last few yrs...
Right now we are planning on handing out candy and maybe having a party.
I'm debating my standard wench/pirate or maybe doing a witch with my sis.
Halloween is one of the few weekends I won't be at TRF at all. I (as well as a couple of cast members and vendors) am on staff for an anime convention (Oni-Con (http://www.oni-con.com) that weekend.
The Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland :-)
We have been trying to scare up some Samhain plan for over a month now- it is both of our most favorite holiday.
My birthday is the 29th and the stupid boat show is the same weekend, although I was recently informed that I might be off the hook with having to work it this year.
All our current friends are extremely boring when it comes to this kind of stuff so whatever we do it will be on our own.
We were hoping a local rock radio station would have their halloween cruise again this year but it seems like no luck.
So we are still looking and thinking.
We are having a party for the kids in the family. Costume is required but I havent got in gear enough yet to decide on mine. ::) :-\
TRF for the weekend.
Well poo. My plans went down in flames.
My best friend is going to a party with her boyfriend (who I really dont get along with) then my guys think that halloween is dorky so they're not going to do anything.
So looks like I wil be hiding in the bushes scaring kids. Kind of glad I put off buying those halloween contacts now.
I'll be donning Victorian garb with Steampunk accessories for my son's Halloween wedding and costume party reception. :)
Well, after thinking about it, I believe for the kids party I will just wear a renn outfit. Not many in the family have seen it anyway...
My great-grandson of the Cadet Royal Guard for Elizabeth II of England in Canada is expecting to wear his royal guard uniform. Don't know if it's protocol though, that's my son's siblings job as parents to figure out. lol
As for myself, I'm all for electing the dead during halloween, thinking maybe judge?

That sounds like tons of fun!
yesss i have plans that weekend even if it does make Mom mad that i'm skipping the family gather
I'm going to a church fall festival. dressing up as a pirate queen this time. found this amazing mask and a pretty cool plastic sword i'm going to use my ren garb still debating the pants or skirt option
My costume is the Legs Avenue Miss Wonderland for a friends Halloween party. ;D
If I go to the party I'll be Naughty Red Riding Hood.
Depending on the weather I'll pull out last years puppy dog costume, or I may just wear the one my boss is making all of us. (We are having a themed work party. He is making our matching so we all look right.)
Well starting off on the 23rd is a zombie crawl and i plan to be dressed as a Dickens Christmas Carol Caroler. I have yet to decide what i will wear to work on the 29th for the costume contest but has to be big to win for the third year in a row. Now on the 30th one of the guys in my pirate group have been working for 2 months on there yard so be there for a party and scare fest. On All Hallows Eve i will be meeting with a bunch of renfaire people to walk around one of our malls. Not sure what is going on that night.
work won't let us dress up. bummer
Student appreciation day at school Monday...

To avoid that problem in the future, if you choose to do this again (your costume looks awesome, btw :)), use a bar of soap to slick down your eyebrows. Don't use any water, just rub the corner of the bar on them until they lay flat. Then you can use makeup or whatever to hide them.
Hope you weren't blistered for too long! Allergic reactions like that suck (I had a good part of my face do that once from a new product I used)!
Love it Becky!
