Brrr!!!  At least cloaks catch the sun.

Last year it rained on final Sunday, right?  Maybe even much of the weekend...

Thanks for the update!  Let's hope the rain guage remains in tact.

Nope, didn't rain on the last day last year but it was NASTY cold out!  BRRR!   Dressed in 'danes and brought the girls (wore my 10 day old in my "moby" wrap, at least SHE was warm!)  =D

I just remember dodging puddles while loading up the booth after cannon.  Maybe the rain was over nite or left-over from Saturday?

Yeah, it was a rainy Sat (I think) and just an icky week leading up to the final weekend.

But anyhoo, YAY!!!!!  I get to go to Fest on Sun!  I love going on closing day, don't know why but that has sort of become my tradition...  AND (more importantly IMO) I don't have to bring the kids!!!!!!!!!!  (As of right now, anyway.  I hope it stays that way!)
So to be prepared for the cooler day I added sleeves to my gown and have two wraps to choose from.  Ah decisions...  =)

Hurray for Lady Fae and not having to bring the kids!  Woot!  Although, I do have to say the 3 fairies were totally adorable.  :D

Must remember to buy salted nut rolls for a coworker on Sunday.  (hopefully they'll be on sale!)

Totally hijacking the thread, sorry- BUT what is the deal about Fest Friends for a "day pass" thing?  I don't know the details and would like to...  =D

Lady Fae

Just come to the glade, it's only $5, however day pass holders do not get use of the private Priv. But there is access to a place to hold your goods, hot and cold drinks as well as ice, and if people have brought treats you can have those too. :) Hope to see you among us on Sunday.

:)

Quick note that the fest friends "day pass" is totally different than the paper day passes issued to volunteers and employees.

(also fest friends maintainers if you are here (can you try REALLY REALLY hard to get any patrons pushed out as quickly as possible after cannon on Saturday?  It's going to be a mess with the cast party that night and we need push done as fast as possible.)  THANKS!

I think with these low temps, it might be an excellent weekend for some warm spiced wine at the shop.   ;D

I will be missing Closing Weekend, for my daughter is getting married on Saturday. She too is looking for good weather. Thank goodness the Yacht is a double decker from Al and Alma's Lake Minnetonka fleet.

Well at least I have a hat now to keep my head warm, and I guess I am going to decorate a cloak really fast... and I am about to invest in a bunch of hat warmers...

Anyone know how long those things last if you get them wet?

Awesome forecast in my opinion. I can't believe it, I think I will actually have worn all my cool weather garb this year! that's never happened before! Normally I feel lucky to wear it for 2-3 days a season! After the the 1st 2 weekends, I thought I'd be lucky to wear it all!....LoL

Indiana was a little like Camelot. It rained a little Saturday morning before opening, but just enough to keep the dust down.
