Title: R.I.P Jack Lalanne
Post by: Rowan MacD on January 24, 2011, 12:43:29 PM
I really believed if anyone could live forever,  he would be that person...

I grew up watching his show.... He showed us how to get a workout using just a kitchen chair, then the famous; 'inhale' (hold for a second) then 'exhale'.
I didn't know that working out with weights was frowned upon in the 50's and 60's.

*sigh*

:'( This is a sad day. I remember watching him on tv as well. He and Dick Clark never seemed to age.

I always liked on how his commercials he had to yell at the top of his lungs because "THE BLENDER IS WHISPER QUIET!"

RIP Jack!
