*sigh*

nice book. but wow on that price.
Nostalgia isn't cheap! My all time favorite movie prop/character is Robby The Robot from the movie Forbidden Planet. You can actually buy a full sized replica of him (as well as some other cinema/TV robots). Check out link below and click on the scroll bar to the right to see Robby and his story. If I ever hit the lottery......... !

I hear ya, one of a kind comes pretty dear.
A few months ago this site was selling the portable bar unit that Tony Stark used in the desert for Iron Man when he introduced the Jericho Rocket.
Not actually a working model, mind you, just a prop shell, like an oversized aluminum suitcase with the Stark logo on it. The price tag was still 3K and change.

The BEN-HUR chariot
The 2 battle swords from PRINCE VALIENT
The problem is that no one knows if they even still exist
Hey Morgan- the second movie prop of my desire is the Disney Nautilus. I do have a 12" Robby that walks and talks. I fully understand your desire for the Nautilus. It was the best sub movie or otherwise.
Aya BW! Tis the ultimate pirate ship.
BLAKDUKE- Wouldn't you rather have repro's of those swords? They looked pretty chewed up by the end of the fight :o
MORGAN:
Nope, even chewed up the real props would be worth more than re-pros.
The BLAKDUKE
I want Elizabeth Swan's burgundy gown from POTC1.
And a really big hat.
Hey W.W.
At the risk of being indelicate, you would not fit.
El DUKEY
Hey El Dukey!
I am NOT fat!
OK so she is taller than me.....
your taller than she, laying down flat on your back.
*wipes monitor down with paper towel*
OK so the dress can be altered. ::)
I'd like the black and white outfit Jane Birkin wore in Evil Under the Sun.
Or Daisy Buchanan's clothes in the Great Gatsby.
Is Robert Redford considered a prop?
I want this hat from The Duchess. I loved in the movie, and it's even more lovely in person (Boca Raton Museum of Art)!

The 'yellow Interceptor' 1974 Australian Ford Falcon XB from Mad Max.

Unfortunately, the car no longer exists...but I'd take any one of a number of wonderful replicas out there (http://www.madmaxmovies.com/fanstuff/cars/index.html).
:)
The Armour that Michael Caine's wore in the movie the Last Valley.
The clothes that go with that hat would be wonderful as well ;D
The only movie prop ever worth owning...Got to sit in it once, still have not been able to iron out the "goose bumps"...

Here's the specs on the original : http://www.1966batmobile.com/spec.htm
It was made from a Ford Futura concept car. When it was built it was worth 30K
a lot of $$ in those days! Now it has a price tag of 2 million.
I would love to have the Duke's ivory handle 45 Colt, that he used in all of his movies, a long with the rifle that Charlton Heston used in the Mountain Men.
The sword of the Daywalker from the blade movies. Normally Japanese blades don't appeal to me, but this is cool.

Been to the Ellingson Car Museum in Rogers? My ex-boss owns it and has one of the original 6 Batmobiles from the series. He has a Delorian, too. And "Woody" and a floating car and all sorts of stuff. =)
The Vorpel sword and Alice's armor from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland
LadyFae, I have been there many times...Sadly the Batmobile was on loan and is now gone. :(
Still a fun place to kill an afternoon!
